Your Role Accountabilities…
- Research, develop and pitch original story ideas
- Support producers and senior producers in planning shoots and interviews from pre-production through to delivery.
- Co-ordinate filming logistics including call sheets, schedules, travel, permits etc
- Write and assist with scripts and work collaboratively with producers and senior producers to create innovative, compelling content
- Produce high-quality output whilst managing simultaneous projects
- Source archive, fact-check material and ensure editorial accuracy throughout production
- Contribute ideas to improve workflows, production and team output
- Support the organization of media and archive where required
Qualifications & Experiences…
- Experience in production, scripting, journalism, digital media or television content creation
- Strong editorial judgement and a passion for storytelling
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, solve problems and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detailed, meticulous and organized
- Understanding of digital and social storytelling trends
- Have a willingness to learn and pick up new skills
Nice To Have…
- Experience with filming equipment
- Experience of field producing
- Experience of working in an international newsroom
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Audition
