Position Overview

We are looking for a kind, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is excited to gain experience in the field of early childhood education. As an Assistant Teacher/Floater, you’ll work closely with lead teachers to support a warm, engaging classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with daily classroom routines and activities
• Support children through play, exploration, and learning experiences
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Model kindness, patience, and respect in all interactions
• Help with classroom organization, materials prep, and maintaining a clean environment

Qualifications

• A genuine love for working with young children
• Positive, reliable, and eager to learn
• Team player with good communication skills
• No formal education or previous experience required — training and ongoing support provided
• Must meet state childcare licensing requirements (background check, etc.)
