Starting Salary
$25,722 – $27,896 plus benefits (10.5 month work schedule) 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
The assistant teacher position includes duties such as supervising children’s activities; assisting the teacher with a variety of tasks such as planning activities, collecting documentation on children’s development and assessing their skills, providing individualized activities to special needs children; interacting with the children and preparation of reports, forms, and documents. The assistant teacher will also serve as bus monitor who will assure that all children are provided a safer and socially stimulating ride as they are transported to and from the center.
Requirements
Minimum of Infant / Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) required
