ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must comply with all employment criteria legally established by the Lee County Board of Education.
  • Possession of a valid and appropriate Alabama Professional Leadership certificate.
  • Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Educational or Instructional Leadership.
  • Three or more years of successful teaching experience.
  • Working knowledge of the Lee County School System and the attendance area.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.


Background Check Required: 
(HB 402 ACT 99-361 Alabama Legislature) Upon offer of employment, employees will be required to submit legible fingerprints for a background review by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.


FLSA Status:
 Exempt


REPORTS TO: 
Building Principal


SUPERVISES: 
Personnel attached to the school as assigned by the principal.


JOB GOAL: 
Assists the principal in the areas of leadership, supervisory, and administration skills so as to promote the educational development of each student.
