Coastal Grove Charter School is a public charter school guided by the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education, located in Humboldt County in Northern California. Coastal Grove Charter School educates K-8 children in Arcata and surrounding communities using integrated methods curricula with an emphasis on natural developmental rhythms to enrich imagination, creativity, academic excellence, and social responsibility. Teaching emphasizes attention to diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds, presented through experiential, practical applications. Students will emerge capable of self-expression, effective communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with a global consciousness and ability to succeed amidst the challenges of our changing world.

This position requires a high level of daily interpersonal interactions with all members of a school community. It is essential to possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to take initiative prioritizing and completing tasks. This role requires flexibility and a can do attitude. Requires confidentiality and discretion. Responsibilities include: managing food services, student attendance and student records. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, and possess a 4-year college degree. Must have 3-5 years office experience. Computer skills are required. Knowledge of Waldorf education is a plus.
