Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department in various accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly closing activities.
- Support VAT-related documentation and filing requirements.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers and suppliers.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules.
- Handle data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Coordinate with internal departments on finance-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a contracting, construction, or trading company.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT requirements.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Native Hindi Speaker preferred
