Encore Partners is currently seeking a full-time Accounting Assistantfor our fast-paced, fast-growing boutique tax & accounting firm to support our client accounting services. This role is primarily focused on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic bookkeeping functions across multiple client accounts. The position also includes limited administrative support to assist with internal coordination and workflow.

Job Description:

  • Process accounts payable, including vendor bills, and payment tracking
  • Communicate with clients regarding transactions, missing information, and clarifications
  • Organize and maintain digital financial records and supporting documents
  • Assist with tracking client deliverables and internal workflows
  • Support the team with basic administrative coordination as needed
  • Handle occasional ad hoc tasks to support overall team operations
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment application, and follow-ups

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience required
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online required
  • Extremely detail-orientated and multi-tasker with shifting priorities and interruptions.
  • Excellent problem-solver with a positive attitude and drive to grow with team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in demeanor and communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with clients in person, by phone, and by email
  • Proficient with basic office technology (scanners, printers, email, Microsoft Office preferred)
  • Experience in accounting firms or professional services firms is a plus
