Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting systems.
• Record daily transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with financial regulations.
• Monitor inventory valuation and stock-related accounting entries.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
• Maintain payroll records and process employee salaries where required.
• Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience in the FMCG, bakery, retail, or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of VAT and other local tax regulations.
