Accounts Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department in various accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly closing activities.
  • Support VAT-related documentation and filing requirements.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers and suppliers.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules.
  • Handle data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on finance-related matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a contracting, construction, or trading company.
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT requirements.
  • Immediate joiners will be given preference.
  • Native Hindi Speaker preferred
