Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all construction activities related to the programme, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Lead and supervise the site supervision team and monitor contractor performance, progress, and resource deployment.
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, utility providers, and authorities to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate construction risks, resolve site issues, and support timely decision making.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Monitor project progress and support the successful testing, commissioning, and handover of works.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the management of design and/or construction of major infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager on at least one project of similar size and complexity.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary construction and site supervision teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction management, contract administration, quality assurance, and health and safety requirements.
- Middle East experience is highly advantageous.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable.
