Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in maintaining guest satisfaction and enhancing their overall experience at our establishment.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, handling reservations and payments accurately.
  • Provide information about the resort’s amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions using hotel management software.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of the day.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette to assist callers with inquiries or reservations.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is beneficial.
  • A background in hospitality management is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
