Housekeeping Assistant Manager

About the Role
As our Housekeeping Assistant Manager, you’ll support and lead a hardworking, diverse team to maintain the highest cleanliness standards in guest rooms and common areas. You’ll step into the Manager’s role when needed, ensuring smooth daily operations and a five-star guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily housekeeping operations.
- Assist in training, onboarding, and mentoring new team members.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to address room and property deficiencies.
- Conduct room and public area inspections and provide coaching and feedback.
- Manage inventory of supplies and tools.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks.
- Support team members by stepping into Room or House Attendant roles when needed.
- Uphold lost-and-found procedures and safety protocols.
- Lead morning meetings and end-of-day reporting.
- Promote team morale and guest satisfaction through active leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous leadership experience in a Housekeeping environment.
- Service-focused leader who leads by example.
- Detail-oriented and calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
