Prestige Vernon Hotel is looking for a seasonal part-time Evening Laundry Attendant.

Laundry Attendants have a great work/life balance and can enjoy a flexible working schedule. We can tailor your hours between another job, school, and/or your childcare schedule.

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for a variety of laundry and housekeeping services to maintain the presentation of guest rooms and public areas of the property on a daily basis in accordance with standards set by Prestige Hotels & Resorts. The Laundry Attendant must ensure hotel quality and guest satisfaction at all times and assists guests whenever possible.

Job Duties:

  • Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with Prestige Hotels & Resort’s policy
  • Greet guests with a smile and in a warm and courteous manner
  • Perform daily laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying and folding linens
  • Assist with stripping rooms, bed making and public area cleaning
  • Become familiar with various room types
  • Handle lost and found items
  • Maintain security measures
  • Restock housekeeping carts daily with supplies
  • Observe and report any repairs needed

  • Must like to have fun at work!
  • A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn
  • Prior experience is an asset, but is NOT required
  • Neat and tidy appearance as this position deals with the public
  • Must be available to work evenings
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
