POSITION TITLE: Bartender/Server
REPORTS TO: Bar Supervisor/AGM/GM
POSITION SUMMARY
The Bartender/Server is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interacting with guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks. The role goes beyond mixing drinks, as bartender/server, you are expected to provide a memorable guest experience by engaging with guests and ensuring the bar operates efficiently and flawlessly. THIS POSITION REQUIRES SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AVAILABILITY. TOAST experience gives the successful candidate a leg up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons according to standard recipes.
- Greet guests, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guest preferences and menu offerings.
- Take drink and food orders from guests or servers, ensuring timely service.
- Properly record all sales transactions and ensure accurate payment & cash handling.
- Perform opening and closing side work according to checklists, ensuring the bar , pool deck and restaurant is clean and organized.
- Wash glassware and maintain the cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas.
- Stay knowledgeable about current food and beverage offerings, including wine lists and cocktail menus.
- Provide guests with current information regarding hotel services, hours, and local attractions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to enhance guest experiences and bar operations.
- 3 to 6 months of related experience; or one-year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with guests and team members.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 20lbs.
