Job Purpose:
To manage, control, and safeguard all construction materials, tools, and equipment at site and warehouse locations, ensuring accurate inventory records, timely issuance, and compliance with company and project procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials against delivery notes and purchase orders
- Record all inward and outward material movements in store logs.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved material request forms
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and safety standards
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement
- Manage tools and equipment handover and returns
- Prepare monthly inventory and consumption reports
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and company procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Storekeeper in contracting or construction companies
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and inventory control procedures
Education:
- Intermediate Secondary
- Good Microsoft (Excel, Word, PP) Skills
- Typing Skills
Skills:
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure on construction sites
- Good communication skills
