Full job description

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and licensing requirements
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards for food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Set performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and excellent customer service
  • Schedule staff effectively to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests
  • Interact with customers, gather feedback, and use insights to improve service quality and meet customer expectations
  • Develop and manage budgets, including labour costs, food and beverage costs, and operational expenses
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse financial reports, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Control inventory levels and manage purchasing to minimise waste and maintain cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors to support business growth
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion and differentiation.
  • Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making
