Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers courteously.
- Present menus, provide detailed information about menu items, and make recommendations when requested.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently according to restaurant standards.
- Check with customers to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
- Handle billing and payment transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining areas.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant or dining area.
- Work closely with other team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3- 5 years of work experience as a waiter/waitress or in customer service (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of personal hygiene.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Food handling or hospitality certification (an advantage).
