Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper with strong knowledge of material segregation and inventory management for a trading company. The ideal candidate should be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word and capable of maintaining accurate stock records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials manually and systematically
- Properly segregate and store items as per category and usage
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory logs
- Update inventory data using MS Excel
- Prepare stock reports, issue notes, and documentation using MS Word
- Ensure proper labeling and easy identification of materials
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store area
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper in a trading company
- Strong knowledge of material segregation and inventory control
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in UAE trading companies
- Basic knowledge of r inventory software (added advantage)
