Job Purpose:
The Clearance & Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing and monitoring clearance activities, ensuring timely trailer scheduling, vehicle loading, and dispatch in compliance with service level agreements (SLA) and HSE standards The role involves coordinating with customs, drivers, and key partners to resolve deviations, preparing clearance reports, ensuring accurate trip data entry, and managing staff transportation allocation The position plays a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant logistics operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in clearance activities by adjusting trailer and driver schedules
• Monitor urgent clearance requirements and initiate actions accordingly
• Coordinate with Customs for necessary assistance and highlight issues as needed
• Identify and report any deviations in clearance or transportation plans
• Prepare and circulate the daily clearance report
• Verify that all vehicles are planned and allocated based on load requirements
• Ensure vehicles are loaded and dispatched on time in line with SLA commitments
• Enter trip data accurately in Oracle
• Oversee staff transportation allocation and ensure timely execution
• Ensure all process and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements are followed
• Complete documentation accurately and within required timelines

Educational Qualification:

• 10+2 or equivalent education

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within logistics, clearance, or transportation

Competencies:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with key stakeholders
• Knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

Languages:

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
