A Warehouse and Logistics Manager oversees the entire flow of goods, from receiving and storing products to coordinating their timely and cost-effective delivery, integrating warehouse operations with broader supply chain strategies, managing inventory, optimizing distribution, and leading teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Core Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations: Managing receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, plus maintaining warehouse organization and safety.
- Inventory Management: Ensuring stock accuracy, minimizing waste, preventing stockouts, and conducting regular stock takes.
- Logistics Coordination: Planning and managing transportation, distribution, and delivery schedules with carriers, partners, and sales teams.
- Supply Chain Integration: Linking warehouse activities with overall supply chain goals, optimizing the movement of goods from origin to destination.
- Team Leadership: Hiring, training, motivating, and managing warehouse and logistics staff.
- Process Improvement: Analyzing data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
