Job Description

  • Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
  • Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  • Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness.
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specials and dietary needs.
  • Process guest payments and handle transactions (cash/credit card).
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and room service equipment.
  • Restock and replenish room service items as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area.
  • Assist with preparing condiments, utensils, and beverages for service.
  • Ensure guests are satisfied and encourage feedback.
  • Uphold hotel safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service (room service experience preferred).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift trays and equipment (up to 25 pounds).
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
