Waiter / Server – Job Description

Position: Waiter / Server
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Restaurant Supervisor / Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
  • Present menus, explain menu items, and take customer orders accurately
  • Serve food and beverages according to service standards
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and handle customer inquiries or complaints politely
  • Coordinate with kitchen and food runners to ensure timely service
  • Prepare tables before service and clear tables after guests leave
  • Process bills and payments correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and follow hygiene standards

Qualifications & Skills

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred

Job Type: Part-time
