Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing a positive first impression
  • Offer menu recommendations, describe specials, and take accurate orders
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and gracefully to ensure an enjoyable dining experience
  • Engage with guests, addressing inquiries, and accommodating special requests
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless coordination of orders
  • Assist in table setup and ensure a clean and organized dining environment
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and provide change as needed
  • Assist in bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety, following health regulations and food safety guidelines

Requirements and Skills

  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • In-depth knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure
  • Dedication to upholding hygiene and sanitation standards in a restaurant setting
