Job Summary

The Waitress cum Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by attending to guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accurately handling billing and payment transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesWaitress Duties

• Greet customers politely and ensure a welcoming dining experience
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen
• Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with service standards
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and service standards at all times

Cashier Duties

• Prepare and present accurate bills to customers
• Process cash, card, and other payment methods efficiently
• Operate POS systems and ensure correct order entry
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
• Handle refunds, voids, and discounts according to company policy
• Report any cash discrepancies to management immediately

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waitress, cashier, or similar role preferred
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Presentable appearance and professional attitude
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage
