- Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome customers as they arrive, guide them to their tables, and present menus.
- Taking Orders: Accurately note food and drink orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver meals and drinks to tables promptly and ensure that customers have everything they need during their meal.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and provide recommendations based on menu items.
- Processing Payments: Prepare and present bills to customers, handle cash and credit transactions, and provide change as necessary.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Clear tables after guests leave, reset tables for the next customers, and maintain a clean dining area.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests and handle complaints effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to remember orders and ensure accuracy in serving food and beverages.
- Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple tables and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Stamina: Endurance to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays of food and drinks.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other waiters to ensure smooth service
