GIT Consultant main role is to consistently foster Group Escorted Tour business growth by delivering first-rate class travel advising services on fixed tour itineraries using tour booking system.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
- To exceptionally sell online/offline memorable and exquisite international tour/holiday itineraries on Fixed Departures (USA / Europe/ Asia Pacific / Africa / Australasia).
- Conduct dynamic tour product presentations highlighting the best tour benefit features against competitors.
- Identify and source new business leads and convert them to new clients thereby exceed target sales goal.
- Communicate detailed information per itinerary for chosen travel destination achieving 100% satisfaction, increasing repeat and long-term business.
- Adhere to KPI and CRM standard operating procedures to ensure margins set targets on bookings are achieved.
- Act proactively on resolving travel issues that can have negative impact on travelers’ tour plans.
- Promote professional image with excellence on compelling, persuasive and composed professional demeanor to gain customer trust and confidence, consistent with brand values.
Qualification/ Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of the Outbound International Tourism as well as Inbound Tourism industry products are essential
- Some experience in handling VIP and/or luxury FIT accounts is desirable.
- Excellent & fluency in the English language is a must.
- Travel & Tourism degree or relevant travel industry experience preferable With good attention to detail and a strong proactive personality.
- Excellent customer care, communication, negotiation and convincing skills team player & highly motivated to able to work in a busy environment.
Experience:
- Travel Consultant: min 2-3 years (Required)
