Ticketing Executive

This role is responsible for managing the ticketing operations for events, travel, or venues by ensuring accurate and timely ticket issuance, handling customer inquiries, and providing seamless service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

  • Handle flight, hotel, car rental, and other travel bookings.
  • Provide personalized travel advice and recommendations based on preferences, budget, and requirements.
  • Issue, modify, and cancel tickets as needed. Ensure accurate processing of travel documents.
  • Assist with any issues related to their travel plans, including changes, cancellations, and refunds. Provide support during travel disruptions.
  • Create detailed travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
  • Manage payment transactions, including processing deposits and final payments for travel arrangements.
  • Stay informed about travel industry trends, new destinations, and travel regulations to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
  • Address and resolve any travel-related issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, transactions, and interactions for future reference and compliance.
  • Work with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers to ensure seamless service and address any issues that arise.
  • Continuously update skills and knowledge about travel products, services, and technology to provide the best services.
  • Notifies the manager with any changes or modifications on the flights such as delay, cancellations, others, etc.
  • Communicates with airport team to coordinate check-in procedures and formalities with assigned parties whenever required.
  • Contribute positively to the work environment and operations by developing collaborative relationships with colleagues. Assist other ticketing specialists as needed, share knowledge and experience, and operate independently within the team framework
  • Act as a resource for activities, meetings/events, and destinations
  • Perform other duties as specified by the Manager.
  • Ability to do Invoices per client’s request

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 3 Years’ experience in Travel and Tourism
  • Deep understanding of travel and tourism, including destinations, accommodation options, and travel regulations.
  • Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo for booking flights, hotels, and car rentals.
  • Strong ability to handle client inquiries, provide travel advice, and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
  • Knowledge of ticketing procedures, including issuing, modifying, and canceling tickets for various travel services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and travel service providers.
  • Ability to manage complex itineraries and ensure accuracy in bookings and documentation.
  • Skills in troubleshooting travel-related issues and finding solutions for unexpected changes or challenges.
  • Awareness of different cultures and customs to better assist international travelers.
