Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls promptly, courteously, and professionally
  • Route calls to the correct department, extension, or person
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery
  • Make outgoing calls as requested
  • Provide clear and accurate information to callers
  • Handle basic inquiries and assist callers with common questions
  • Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional tone
  • Resolve minor issues or escalate when necessary
  • Maintain and update telephone directories and contact lists
  • Log call information as per company procedures
  • Assist with communication-related administrative tasks
  • Operate switchboards, PBX systems, or call-routing software
  • Identify and report technical issues with phone systems
  • Maintain confidentiality of caller and company information
  • Follow communication protocols and safety procedures
  • Support front office or reception tasks as needed
