The Role
Assist in Lesson Planning: Collaborate with teachers to prepare lesson materials and instructional resources. Support Student Learning: Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students who need extra help, ensuring they understand the material. Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment by managing student behavior and encouraging participation. Monitor Student Progress: Track and document student performance, providing feedback to the lead teacher on individual progress and areas needing improvement. Administrative Tasks: Assist with grading assignments, maintaining student records, and organizing classroom supplies to support the lead teacher’s instructional efforts. Supervise Activities: Monitor students during lunch, recess, and field trips to ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements
Education: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents. Patience and Empathy: Ability to work with students of varying abilities and backgrounds, showing understanding and support. Organizational Skills: Capable of planning lessons, preparing materials, and keeping track of student progress. Collaborative Skills: Ability to work closely with teachers and other staff to enhance the educational experience for students.
