We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper with a minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale construction projects. The Storekeeper will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and control of construction materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with company and project requirements.
- Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials, tools, and equipment against delivery notes, purchase orders, and specifications.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and identification of all materials in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Issue materials to site teams, subcontractors, and engineers strictly as per approved material requests (MIR / MIV).
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock registers, bin cards, and system entries (manual and/or ERP).
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive, hazardous, or high-value materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and consumption reports for management.
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning, and procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and ISO / HSE requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store and storage yards.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and material verification conducted by consultants or clients.
- Prevent material damage, loss, or theft and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in large construction or infrastructure projects (high-rise, villas, roads, MEP, or industrial projects).
- Diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction materials (civil, MEP, finishing, tools, and equipment).
- Experience working with inventory systems or ERP software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of material documentation (POs, delivery notes, MIRs, MIVs).
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and specifications.

- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure in a site environment
Language & Other Requirements
- Basic to good command of English & Arabic/Urdu & Hindi preferably (written and spoken)
- Ability to work flexible hours as per site requirements
- Physically fit to work on construction sites
- Knowledge of HSE practices and site safety procedures
