Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Store Keeper with a strong background in handling building materials. The candidate will be responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling inventory to ensure smooth site operations and timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming building materials.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records (manual & digital).
  • Issue materials to site supervisors, technicians, and workers as per requirements.
  • Coordinate with the purchase department for stock replenishment.
  • Monitor material usage and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Implement proper safety and housekeeping practices in the store.
  • Conduct periodic stock checks and prepare inventory reports.
  • Prevent material loss, misuse, or theft through proper control.
  • Support project teams by ensuring timely material supply.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper in construction/building materials.
  • Knowledge of building products (cement, tiles, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
  • Familiar with inventory management systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software).
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
