Full job description

Receiving and Storing Parts :

  • Inspect incoming shipments: to verify quality and accuracy against purchase orders or invoices
  • Organize and store parts: efficiently to optimize space and ensure accessibility.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records: using a computerized system
  • Monitor stock levels: to ensure adequate supply and prevent overstocking or shortages.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventories: to cross-reference with records and identify discrepancies.
  • Implement inventory control systems: to minimize loss and ensure efficient management of parts
  • Process customer and technician orders: by accurately identifying and retrieving the correct parts.
  • Assist customers and service personnel: in locating parts and provide technical information when needed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers: to ensure timely replenishment of stock and to handle returns of defective products

Store Operations :

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store area, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Manage the overall flow of parts movement: from receiving to issuing.
  • Prepare and dispatch parts: for delivery or collection according to customer orders.
  • Create reports: on inventory, expenditures, and other relevant data
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe workspace
