Storekeeper

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming building materials and supplies.
  • Verify materials received against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Organize and maintain the store area for easy identification and access to materials.
  • Issue materials and tools to site teams based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
  • Monitor stock movement and report shortages or discrepancies to the procurement or accounts team.
  • Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and safe storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and prepare monthly inventory reports.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing and site teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper (preferably in building materials or construction industry).
  • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and hardware.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, inventory software, ERP systems preferred).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
