Storekeeper

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Store Keeper for a reputed catering firm. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in store operations within the catering or food service industry and be familiar with food safety and inventory control procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store food items, raw materials, and catering supplies
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory registers regularly
  • Ensure proper storage of food items as per hygiene and food safety standards (FIFO/FEFO)
  • Issue materials to kitchen and operations teams as per requisition
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or expiry items
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering of supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
  • Conduct regular stock audits and assist in monthly inventory checks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Store Keeper in a catering or food service company
  • Basic knowledge of food handling, storage, and hygiene standards
  • Ability to maintain records and reports
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressur
