Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records (quantities, specifications, and conditions) using manual logs or digital systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical counts to prevent discrepancies.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site personnel as per approved requisitions.
- Track usage and ensure proper documentation for accountability.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate reordering to avoid shortages.
- Label and categorize items for easy identification and retrieval.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on stock levels, consumption, and discrepancies.
- Maintain records of deliveries, returns, and damaged goods.
- Assist in reconciling invoices with received materials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma; certification in storekeeping/inventory management is a plus.
- 2+ years as a storekeeper in civil construction (preferred) or related industries.
