Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Storekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all construction materials, tools, and supplies towards site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantity and quality against delivery notes or invoices.
- Organize and maintain stock in a clean, orderly, and accessible manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through manual logs or inventory management software.
- Issue materials to production or other departments as requested.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of low stock or surplus.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain safety and hygiene standards within the store area.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement department for timely restocking.
- Assist with loading/unloading of materials and ensure proper handling.
- Maintain records of damaged, expired, or returned goods.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Storekeeper in Construction, Equipment Rental, Heavy Machinery Preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction machinery and mechanical spare parts.
- Basic MS Office knowledge
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items when required.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Technical Qualification related to Machinery/Automobile/Mechanical Parts
- English and Hindi is Mandatory
- Immediate joiners preferred
Experience: 1-2 years of Experience Preferred.
