Store Keeper – Restaurant Chain

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of food items, raw materials, furnished and non-furnished items, tools, and equipment for a chain of restaurants. The role ensures that all materials are received, stored, and issued in an organized and efficient manner while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of food items, raw materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all materials received and issued.
  • Prepare SIV (Store Issue Vouchers) and SRV (Store Receipt Vouchers) for purchases, issues, and receipt of raw materials and food items.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Organize storage areas for easy identification, accessibility, and proper stock rotation.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Department and other departments for timely material issuance.
  • Monitor material usage and report shortages, damages, or excess stock.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the store area.
  • Coordinate the return of unused, damaged, or expired materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the food & restaurant industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when required.
  • Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Immediate availability to join.
