Store Keeper – Restaurant Chain
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of food items, raw materials, furnished and non-furnished items, tools, and equipment for a chain of restaurants. The role ensures that all materials are received, stored, and issued in an organized and efficient manner while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of food items, raw materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation for all materials received and issued.
- Prepare SIV (Store Issue Vouchers) and SRV (Store Receipt Vouchers) for purchases, issues, and receipt of raw materials and food items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Organize storage areas for easy identification, accessibility, and proper stock rotation.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department and other departments for timely material issuance.
- Monitor material usage and report shortages, damages, or excess stock.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the store area.
- Coordinate the return of unused, damaged, or expired materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the food & restaurant industry.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when required.
- Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Immediate availability to join.
