Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Storekeeper to manage our food business warehouse. The ideal candidate must ensure proper storage, inventory control, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store food items and packaging materials as per SOPs
  • Maintain accurate stock records (inward, outward, balance)
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed
  • Monitor expiry dates and report near-expiry or damaged items
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store area
  • Coordinate with kitchen, purchasing, and management teams
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits
  • Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and safe storage of items

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper in a food business, restaurant, or warehouse
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and storage standards
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems preferred)
  • Ability to manage inventory efficiently and accurately
  • Physically fit and able to handle warehouse activities
  • Strong attention to detail and responsibility
