Store Keeper

Full job description

The Store Keeper is responsible for efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the construction warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely material issuance, and compliance with company procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, suppliers, and internal departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and update stock records.
  • Organize and store materials safely and efficiently.
  • Issue materials to project teams as per approved requests.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a warehouse/store.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office/ERP).
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle warehouse duties.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
