Job Summary:
The Store In-Charge oversees the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth functionality, inventory control, staff supervision, and excellent customer service. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient stock levels, adhering to company policies, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the store opens and closes as per operational timings.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Monitor and manage daily store activities to meet operational efficiency.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure stock levels are replenished in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular stock checks and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to forecast and order inventory based on demand.
Sales and Customer Service
- Drive sales performance by implementing effective merchandising and promotional strategies.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Train staff to deliver exceptional customer service and upsell products.
Staff Supervision
- Assign tasks and schedules to store staff to ensure coverage and productivity.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations for the team.
- Enforce company policies and maintain a positive work environment.
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements to management.
