Job Description
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and workstations.
- Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper segregation of clean and dirty items.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
- Organize and restock kitchen supplies, such as detergents and cleaning materials.
- Collect and dispose of garbage following hygiene and safety standards.
- Separate waste according to recycling guidelines.
- Keep garbage rooms clean and odor-free.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP or equivalent).
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to hotel/restaurant safety policies.
Qualifications
- Service focused personality is essential
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for service
