Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized and professional service to guests in specialty dining outlets, anticipating needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Take and deliver orders accurately, ensuring special requests, allergies, and dietary requirements are communicated to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and beverages with attention to presentation, timing, and guest experience.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining area, service stations, and tables.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, handling inquiries or complaints promptly and escalating to management when necessary.
  • Upsell and promote specialty menu items, beverages, and hotel offerings to enhance the guest experience and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
  • Follow health, safety, hygiene, and responsible service guidelines at all times.
  • Support training and mentoring of junior waitstaff, sharing knowledge of service techniques and outlet standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and beverage pairings to inform guests and enhance their experience.
  • Represent the SO/ brand through professional appearance, confident demeanor, and engaging service style.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or specialty outlet service staff in luxury hotels, resorts, or fine dining restaurants.
  • Strong guest service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine and beverage pairing, and etiquette.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and tact.
  • Team-oriented mindset, able to collaborate with colleagues and support outlet operations.
  • Professional appearance, confident presence, and alignment with the SO/ brand style.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
