Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized and professional service to guests in specialty dining outlets, anticipating needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take and deliver orders accurately, ensuring special requests, allergies, and dietary requirements are communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages with attention to presentation, timing, and guest experience.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining area, service stations, and tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, handling inquiries or complaints promptly and escalating to management when necessary.
- Upsell and promote specialty menu items, beverages, and hotel offerings to enhance the guest experience and revenue.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
- Follow health, safety, hygiene, and responsible service guidelines at all times.
- Support training and mentoring of junior waitstaff, sharing knowledge of service techniques and outlet standards.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and beverage pairings to inform guests and enhance their experience.
- Represent the SO/ brand through professional appearance, confident demeanor, and engaging service style.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or specialty outlet service staff in luxury hotels, resorts, or fine dining restaurants.
- Strong guest service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine and beverage pairing, and etiquette.
- Ability to handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and tact.
- Team-oriented mindset, able to collaborate with colleagues and support outlet operations.
- Professional appearance, confident presence, and alignment with the SO/ brand style.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
