A Spa Attendant in Waldorf Astoria is an essential member of our team, dedicated to providing impeccable service and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests throughout their spa journey.
What will I be doing?
A Spa Attendant in Waldorf Astoria is an essential member of our team, dedicated to providing impeccable service and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests throughout their spa journey. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- General cleaning of all areas. Prepare treatment rooms and relaxation areas for guest appointments, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and properly set up according to established standards.
- Report lost property, accidents, maintenance issues, or other incidents
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escorting them to designated areas, and providing assistance with robes, slippers, and other amenities.
- Attend to guest needs throughout their spa visit, including providing refreshments, answering questions, and offering guidance on spa services and facilities.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and tidiness of spa facilities, including locker rooms, showers, saunas, and relaxation lounges.
- Restock supplies and amenities as necessary, including towels, robes, toiletries, and refreshments for changing room & thermal lounge.
- Assist spa therapists as needed during treatments, ensuring guests’ comfort and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with fellow spa team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, professionalism, and discretion at all times.
- To have a thorough knowledge of the Spa and fitness departments as well as other applicable services offered by the resort.
- Always co-operate with colleagues and supervisors in the department.
- To ensure adequate levels of towels, products and amenities are available in each treatment room
- To open’ the spa in the morning, cleaning all areas, opening treatment rooms if required
- To close’ the spa at night, closing all treatment areas if required
- To collect and distribute items from other departments e.g. Linen replenishment
- Is aware of the joint responsibility for safety in our Hotel and abides strictly by all the safety instructions, especially when operating the machines and equipment
