Job Description
- Patrol hotel premises regularly to ensure safety and security of guests, employees, and assets.
- Monitor CCTV systems, fire alarms, and access control systems, reporting any irregularities immediately.
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or security threats.
- Control access to restricted areas and verify identification when necessary.
- Prepare and submit accurate incident reports and daily security logs.
- Assist guests and colleagues courteously while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
- Support evacuation procedures during emergencies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Report and handle lost and found items as per hotel policy.
- Conduct bag checks or vehicle inspections when required.
- Liaise with local authorities when necessary and support investigations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security matters and sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit, alert, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control).
- Valid security license or certification (if required by local authorities).
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
