Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure the assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entry/exit points and restricted areas.
- Operate and monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV, alarms) as required.
- Check and verify identification of visitors, contractors, and staff where applicable.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and report to supervisors or law enforcement as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports.
- Enforce company rules, regulations, and safety policies.
- Assist during evacuations, fire drills, or other emergency situations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum high school education or equivalent.
- Prior security experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
- Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency procedures is an advantage.
