Full job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations at the construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure all workers, contractors, and visitors comply with safety standards.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to workers and site personnel.
- Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and accidents; recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Liaise with government safety inspectors and respond to any audit or inspection findings.
- Provide guidance and support to the project management team regarding safety best practices.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor and ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
