· Supervise, motivate, and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts & bussers.
· Interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising restaurant staff; creating work schedules and providing feedback.
· Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, handling complaints professionally, and resolving issues promptly.
· Overseeing daily restaurant operations, coordinating with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
· Monitoring food quality and presentation, ensuring compliance with recipes, and maintaining food safety standards.
· Managing inventory levels, inspecting deliveries, and ordering necessary supplies and equipment.
· Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and other restaurant policies.
· Monitoring cash and transactions, assisting with payroll, and contributing to strategies for maximizing profitability.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and guests.
· Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities to handle issues as they arise.
· Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
· Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is often required.
