Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Manage and organize reservations, seating plans, and guest lists.
- Maintain a high level of hospitality and ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and handle inquiries politely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth table turnover.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception/hostess area.
- Provide accurate waiting times and manage guest expectations.
- Assist with menu presentation and basic product knowledge.
- Communicate any special requests or guest concerns to the management or service team.
- Support daily front-of-house operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and friendly in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer and reservation system skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, F&B, or customer-facing roles.
- Knowledge of reservation platforms (OpenTable, SevenRooms, ResDiary, etc.).
- Experience in a fine-dining or hotel environment is a plus.
