Restaurant Hostess

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment. She ensures guests are greeted promptly, seated comfortably, and guided throughout their dining experience while maintaining smooth front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Reception & Seating

Greet guests warmly upon arrival.

Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.

Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently.

2. Communication & Customer Service

Answer guest inquiries in a polite and professional manner.

Assist guests with special requests and ensure a positive experience.

Handle guest complaints calmly and escalate to management when necessary.

3. Front of House Coordination

Maintain seating charts and table rotation for efficient service.

Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to manage guest flow.

Monitor restaurant cleanliness and ambiance.

4. Administrative Duties

Maintain reservation records and daily logs.

Update management on guest feedback and operational issues.

Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/restaurant experience preferred.

Native Arabic speaker only.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Polished appearance and professional demeanor.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Own visa preferred.

Working Hours: 9 hours

As per restaurant schedule (may include evenings, weekends, and holidays).
