Purpose:
The role requires a professional and welcoming Hostess to be part of our vibrant team, for upper casual dining spot located in the heart of Dubai. The hostess will enhance the dining experience for our guests by providing exceptional service and maintaining an efficient, hospitable, and lively dining atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet and Welcome Guests: Offer guests a warm reception upon their arrival and departure and manage initial impressions by providing a professional and friendly service.
· Reservation Management: Efficiently handle reservations, phone calls, and waiting lists, where necessary. Provide timely feedback to guests on their reservation status and wait times.
· Seating Coordination: Escort guests to their tables, manage seating arrangements to maximize satisfaction and restaurant capacity while considering guest preferences.
· Guest Experience Management: Ensure guests are comfortable and provide them with all necessary information regarding menu items, special promotions, and restaurant amenities.
· Communication: Serve as the liaison between guests and restaurant staff to ensure smooth communication and prompt attention to any requests or issues that may arise.
· Maintain a Clean Reception Area: Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the entrance, waiting area, and menus. Ensure the environment is inviting and comfortable.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and kitchen staff to maintain a flow of operations, share important guest feedback, and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
· Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations: Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or relevant field is a plus.
· Proven experience as a hostess, front of house, or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus, especially Arabic.
· Professional and neat appearance with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Knowledge of POS software is preferred. Outsourcing, Suppliers, Clients (ODC etc)

· Fluent in English communication, additional proficiency in any of the following languages such as Arabic, Chinese & Russian is required

· Responds to the dynamic needs of a busy dining environment with poise and resilience
